13 Knots Wicca Course
Course Content: Academic Knots
The 13 Knots is a three year training course in the mystical tradition of Wicca, and has 39 lessons in total, 13 of them leading to initiation. The course is separated into sections. The first three events are open to all. Then the students commit to attend to Knot 9. Knots 10 to 13 bring an individual into a coven. We try to offer coven Wicca to all who seek it according to their chosen practice. Knots 14 to 25 are the post initiatory knots.
After Knot 25 and a further period of training students may in some cases be taken into an assembly. This has a separate training course and isn’t of interest to, or open to, all. This involves a further 13 Knots. After initiation the covens and assemblies have their own training.
Our objective is to provide a background to the Wiccan tradition and to take those students who seek it through to initiation into a Wiccan coven. We do not take everyone through the entire course but we do try to take through the dedicated at least to the completion of the Wiccan elements at Knot 25 so that they have a chance to establish their own covens after having being a member of a coven of our Order for a year.
